Position Summary:
The Data Entry Specialist is responsible for accurately entering, managing, and maintaining data within both a proprietary case management system and a secure government database portal. This role requires strong attention to detail, discretion in handling sensitive information, and the ability to follow standardized procedures for data validation and documentation. This position may also require you to conduct OSINT research using approved databases and enter the relative data into a government database.

Position Summary:

This role requires strong attention to detail, discretion in handling sensitive information, and the ability to follow standardized procedures for data validation and documentation. This position may also require you to conduct OSINT research using approved databases and enter the relative data into a government database.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining data across designated systems and databases while ensuring data integrity, consistency, and security.
- Performs routine data validation and quality checks to identify and resolve discrepancies, maintains organized records and adheres to standard operating procedures.
- Conduct OSINT research using approved tools, databases, and publicly available sources to collect relevant information.
- Supports reporting requirements by retrieving and compiling data as needed, ensures timely completion of data related tasks.
- Analyze and verify collected data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency prior to entry.
- Upload data, reports, and supporting documentation into a government-managed portal in accordance with established guidelines.
- Maintain organized digital records, ensuring proper naming conventions, categorization, and traceability.
- Perform routine quality checks to identify and correct data discrepancies or errors.
- Adhere to all data security, privacy, and compliance protocols when handling sensitive or classified information.
- Collaborate with analysts, supervisors, or other stakeholders to clarify data requirements or resolve inconsistencies.
- Generate basic reports or summaries based on entered data as requested.
- Stay up to date on OSINT tools, data entry systems, and evolving procedural requirements.
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- Proven experience in data entry, administrative support, or research-related roles.
- Familiarity with OSINT methodologies and tools is highly desirable.
- Strong typing skills with a high level of accuracy and speed.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and web-based database systems.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain consistency in repetitive tasks.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Current government clearance.
- Prior experience working with government databases or secure data environments.
- Understanding of data validation techniques and quality assurance processes.
- Experience handling sensitive or confidential information.
- Remote.
- May require extended periods of computer use and repetitive data entry tasks.
